GameWiz32is a generic cheat tool for games running under Windows 95/98/ME/2000 and inside a Windows Dos-Box. Most games store their values for money, energy, lives etc. in memory while they are running. And that is where GameWiz32 approaches. It gives you the power to search for memory locations (addresses) of those values. After finding the locations GameWiz32 gives you the possibility to modify the values to whatever you want.

Valve Announces Steamworks: Free Game Developing and Publishing Tools

Valve has just unveiled a new set of publishing and development tools to give game publishers a leg up called Steamworks. Game Overlay 1.0.7

Game Overlay helps get back some of the multi-tasking functionality lost when playing full-screen games.

It allows you view and interact with windows outside the game, but without “Alt-Tabbing” and requiring the game to reinitialize its graphics. It does this by actually rendering the window inside the game! For example, it could be used in the following ways…

Keep up with the conversation…
Overlay your instant messenger and communication programs!
Know who’s currently talking…
Overlay the GUI for external voice applications such as TeamSpeak or Ventrilo.
Never miss an incoming e-mail…
Overlay a semi-transparent e-mail client over the game!
Forget about writing down or printing cheat codes…
Simply copy and paste them into Notepad, then overlay it!
Keep one eye on your computer stats…
Run a utility in the background checking temperatures, download speeds, etc, then overlay it!

Game Overlay works with Direct3D, OpenGL, and DirectDraw games and applications.

TOP Level Editors

Sandbox 2

Sandbox is the level editor included with the game Crysis that enables the construction of maps and modifications (“mods”) for the CryENGINE 2 3D environment technology.

The editing style is that of the sandbox concept, with the emphasis on large terrains and a free style of mission programming. The editor can also construct indoor settings.

UnrealEd (UEd for short) is the level editor used to create levels for Unreal. It can also be used for other games in the Unreal series, and games based on the Unreal engine, such as Deus Ex, although it has changed along with the engine for later games. Non-Unreal games use their own version of basically the same program. One of the first companies to do this with first person shooters,[1] all Unreal games on the PC had the level editor included for free, and some third party Unreal engine games did the same with an edited and specialized version. This extended the longevity of the games. Amateur level designers could now create their own levels for the game, providing a near endless amount of additional content for the game. In addition, the built-in scripting language called UnrealScript allowed for editors to customize game content.

Valve Hammer Editor

Valve Hammer Editor, formerly known as Worldcraft and now commonly called Hammer, is Valve Software’s map creation program for their first-person shooter computer game Half-Life and for all of its mods, sequels, and expansions, as well as all games using the Source engine. Old versions of Worldcraft also supported Quake and Quake II. There are currently two versions- version 3.5, a beta version (still available to the public, but no longer in development), which supports only Half-Life and its mods, but can be run without Steam. The current version, version 4.1, supports Half-Life 2 for the Source engine as well as Half-Life, but requires Steam to be operating. It is accessed via a download of the Source SDK.

SpriteForge is essentialy a tool for creating large numbers of 2D sprites from 3D models. You can ‘photoraph’ your model’s animation frames (or simply it’s static profile) from several different camera angles in just a few easy steps. Primarily designed for creating game sprites, spriteForge is also great for making 3D website graphics (ie spinning 3D logos), taking photos of a 3D model for sale, avatars for chatrooms, testing a model’s animation, spriteForge has a multitude of uses, think of it as an advanced photo studio for your 3D models!

With SpriteForge you can even create sequences of many models at once, then simply choose the orbit positions and elevation you require. This makes SpriteForge perfect for creating for example; 2D 45’orthographic characters for an RPG style game, animated in all 8 directions!

Sprite Builder

Sprite Builder is used to combine separate images (prepared in any other graphical editor)  into one sprite. This program has been developed  particularly for animators who create animation  for games and other projects.

A sprite is a picture which contains all frames of the animation  placed one after another from left to right.   On reaching the maximum column number,   other frames will be added on the next line,  until upper limit of lines is reached.  The line height and measure correspond to the height and measure of the biggest frame.

Program features:

  • Viewing frames and basic editing operations;
  • Saving all settings in the form of a project;
  • Keeping the list of last opened projects;
  • Adding image files to already open frames;
  • Scaling all windows – frame, sprite, animation preview;
  • Scaling images in all windows;
  • Full-features player – standard buttons:
    Play, Stop, Step Forward, Step Back,
    Rewind To The Beginning,
    Forward To The End and the slider for navigating animation;
  • Enabling/disabling animation loop.;
  • Two loop types. The first one is classic when
    the animation is played to the end and starts again.
    The second type is “ping-pong” when animation is played forward and backward;
  • Selecting which of the open files are included into the sprite and which are not;
  • Simple sprite editor;
  • Supporting the BMP, JPG, PNG and GIF formats
